Kevin Martin, Mark Reed and Neil Baldwin will be raising funds for charity, by taking part in a sponsored walk next Wednesday (25th April).
The trio will be participating in the 10-mile walk through Rotherham. The “Six Churches Walk” is a fascinating 10 mile circular route along ancient footpaths and bridleways, which have been used for hundreds of years by local people and visitors alike.
The walk is one of a series of sponsored walks to raise money for the Mears Foundation; a charity which exists to help improve the lives of vulnerable or disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad through practical help, support and intervention. By adopting a practical and “can-do” approach to everything they do, the Foundation will work to:
- Improve the lives of people living in their communities
- Reduce prejudice and improve understanding of difficulties within diverse communities
- Provide career and skills development opportunities to those needing them the most
- Be a positive contributor to their environment
Everyone at Network Waste / Reconomy wishes Kevin, Mark and Neil the best towards their fundraising efforts for this very worthwhile cause. If you would like to help by sponsoring, you can visit their MyDonate page, by clicking here.
